The Sixth Generation (6G) of mobile networks is expected to be a game-changer in the telecom industry with applications and services such as enhanced mobile communications, increased indoor positioning accuracy, holographic telepresence, tactile communications, extended reality, and worldwide connectivity. 6G will rely on terrestrial networks such as tower masts and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs) such as satellites, High-Altitude Platforms (HAPs), and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Baha Eddine Youcef Belmekki is a Postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini at the Communication Theory Lab in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Education and Early Career Baha Eddine Youcef Belmekki received the B.S. degree in Electronics, and the M.S. degree in Wireless Communications and Networking from University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene, Algiers, Algeria, in 2011 and 2013, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degrees in Wireless Communications from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, France in 2020
