Vishal Khandelwal is a physics graduate from India. He obtained his master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi, India. Vishal will join KAUST in the fall of 2020 as a Ph.D. candidate and member of the Advanced Semiconductor Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Xiaohang Li.

Hosne Mobarok Shamim was a visiting student at Photonics Lab, KAUST as a part of the KAUST-KFUPM Initiative (KKI) program. He obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh (2013). He has two years of experience as a lecturer at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, Bangladesh and Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Giuseppe Bernardo Consiglio is a Master's Student at the Polytechnic University of Milan that joined the Photonics Laboratory as a visiting student for his thesis project. He received the B.Sc. degree in Physics Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2013 with the thesis about contact resistance in graphene channel based devices. Research Interests Giuseppe's research interests included Optoelectronics devices. Education Profile Master of Science in Physics Engineering at Politecnico of Milano, 2013 – Present. Bachelor's degree in Physics Engineering at Politecnico of Milano
