Abderrahman Kantos is currectly a Ph.D. student in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL) under the supervision of Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Education and Early Career Before beginning his doctoral studies, Abderrahman completed an internship at RTE (Réseau de Transport d’Électricité), working on quantum computing and the development of quantum algorithms. At École Polytechnique, he participated in the Projet Scientifique Collectif (PSC). His team ranked among the top 10 out of more than 100 teams, under the project title

Ivan Vybornyi

Ivan Vybornyi is a KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) Visiting Student in Prof. Mohammed-Slim Alouini’s research group. Education and Early Career Ivan is a fourth-year bachelor student at the Faculty of Physics, Saint-Petersburg State University, Russian Federation. In 2018 Ivan visited KAUST and CTL during the KAUST Summer Photonics Camp program. Research Interest Ivan is interested in Quantum Optics and its’ applications in Quantum information theory. Honors and Awards In 2017 Ivan received a special scholarship from the government of Saint Petersburg. Education
