Xiaohang Li is an assistant professor of electrical engineering in the University’s Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering (CEMSE) Division. He received his B.S. degree in applied physics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China); his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University (U.S.); and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech (U.S.).

KAUST's Professor Xiaohang Li, Lead of the Advanced Semiconductor Research Group and assistant professor of electrical engineering at CEMSE Division, won the biennial 2018 Harold M. Stefaan De Wolf

Stefaan De Wolf is a Professor of​ Material Science and Engineering, and the Interim Associate Director for the KAUST Solar Center. ​Stefaan De Wolf's expertise lies in the science and technology of photovoltaics for terrestrial applications. His research focuses on the fabrication of high-efficiency silicon-and perovskite based solar cells, with specific attention to the fundamental understanding of interface structures and electrical contact formation, relevant to solar cells and electronic devices in general. He is also interested in new device architectures and applications, such as multi-junction solar cells, aimed at the improved utilization of the full solar spectrum for electricity generation, and the development of photovoltaic solutions for hot and sunny climates. Shicheng Su is currently an MSc/Ph.D. at the SAMA lab. He received his BSc from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China, in 2022 His research interests include smart memory devices, neuromorphic and in-memory computing.

Osman M. Bakr is a professor of Material Science and Engineering at KAUST, specializing in the physics and chemistry of nanomaterials with unique optical, electronic, and magnetic properties.
